It has undergone thorough revision, some parts of it having been r written. It is well up to the clay. For example, under the head of tuberculosis a careful precis is given of all that is known regarding Koch's tubercle bacillus ; under chyluria the researches of Lewis, Manson and others regarding the Jilaria sanguinis howinis are summarized; in treating oi diseases of the nervous system full advantage is taken of recent discoveries, regardingthe localization of its functions and faculties; and under relapsing fever the observations of Obermeier and Vandyke Carter are referred to.
